When to Go to Costa Rica as a Family?
Dry season or green season: both have their advantages! During the rainy season from May to November, you can expect beautiful sunny mornings even if you won’t avoid the occasional shower. However, this is also the season:
- When nature is at its most lush: ideal for wildlife watching, including sea turtles
- With fewer tourists: you benefit from smaller crowds and more attractive prices
This family Costa Rica stay is therefore perfectly suited to the summer school holidays.
The dry season runs from December to April: it is the ideal period for soaking up the sun on the Pacific coast. In this case, your family Costa Rica trip pairs perfectly with the Christmas holidays, the February half-term and the Easter holidays, though these periods are busier.
