Ecuador & Galápagos Islands: 9 Days Between Volcanoes and Endemic Wildlife

Set off on a trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands designed to explore the archipelago’s exceptional biodiversity while discovering the Andean highlands. This 9-day itinerary combines wildlife watching, snorkelling in crystal-clear waters and volcanic hikes across three emblematic islands: San Cristóbal, Isabela and Santa Cruz.

Your Galápagos circuit begins with an immersion in the turquoise waters of León Dormido, where you swim alongside sea turtles, rays and white-tipped reef sharks. On Isabela – the archipelago’s wildest island – you explore the fascinating lava-arch labyrinth of Los Túneles before ascending Sierra Negra Volcano with its 9 km-wide crater. On Santa Cruz, a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station plunges you into the heart of the giant tortoise conservation programme, while an excursion to Bartolomé offers one of the most photographed panoramas in the Galápagos.

This naturalist journey in Ecuador prioritises authentic encounters: artisan coffee tasting on San Cristóbal, watching giant tortoises roam freely in the highlands, and staying in family-run accommodation with your feet in the sand. Between volcanic hikes, unforgettable snorkelling sessions and cultural visits in Quito – including the celebrated Mitad del Mundo – this circuit strikes a perfect balance between nature adventure and cultural discovery.

A tailor-made journey to the Galápagos Islands for lovers of wild nature, designed to explore one of the planet’s most pristine ecosystems while respecting its fragile balance.
